Bio

Sebaah Hamad is interested in the tropes shame and guilt and how they can be exhibited by both those who define themselves as victors and victims. She plans to pursue the hauntings of the past and present, specifically as they are depicted in folklore.

Research

Sebaah's research interests include: Palestinian Literature; Israeli Literature; Black Studies; trauma theory; folktales and mythology; the Gothic; diaspora literature; and translation
