Bio:
Jake is a PhD student in the Department of Religious Studies. His research focuses on Tantric Buddhism in ancient and medieval Tibet. His MA thesis is a translation of an epistle from the Tibetan Buddhist canon ascribed to Buddhaguhya, an eighth-century Indian Buddhist master.
Projects:
Jake is currently working on a translation with two colleagues of a s?tra entitled Ascertaining the Discipline: Up?li’s Questions (Tibetan: ’Dul ba rnam par gtan la dbab pa nye bar ’khor gyis zhus pa).
