Deepti is from the Bay Area and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Comparative Literature.
Research:
Deepti works primarily in Roman Republican comedy and Italian Renaissance Comedy, and is interested in theories of bilingualism and hybridity in theater. She has also presented on gender roles in Aristophanes.
