Bio:
Christene d'Anca is a Ph.D. student in Comparative Literature, specializing in medieval studies, with other special interests in modern Eastern European literature.
Research:
Christene’s recent work has focused on female patronage in 12th and 13th century France, culminating in a conference presentation at MLA and a field examination exploring patronage in the mortuary arts. Christene has also been active in Eastern European scholarship and has worked in translation studies with her native language, Romanian.
